The Berlin New Year's Eve Run is one of the biggest New Year's Eve runs in Germany and ensures the perfect sporty turning of the year. Whether as a sporty finale or a sporty new beginning, with or without a costume - the Berlin New Year's Eve Run is the perfect event for all those who want to experience an exciting, sporty, colorful and atmospheric running highlight on the last day of the year.

You will have even more fun on the run if you come in costume

The hilly trails up Drachenfliegerberg and Teufelsberg will make you sweat but also reward you with an amazing view over all of Berlin. As you head back down, the paths require surefootedness and skill. However, the course is not designed to be too demanding, as the colourfully costumed participants come to have fun as we close out the end of the year together athletically. Self-made costumes are especially welcome—for the sake of fun and for the environment. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes at the new year's eve run Berlin.

Three disciplines with a donut guarantee

In all three disciplines, you can look forward to lots of fun costumes, a lively atmosphere, as well as jelly-filled donuts and drinks at the finish line!

4 km run

Your New Year's Eve party starts right here! If you like it short and crisp but don't want to miss out on running fun, the 4 km variant is the perfect choice. You'll definitely still have reserves for a long New Year's Eve.

6 km run

If you can't decide on the right distance, just take the golden middle. In our case, that's 6 K. Body and soul are guaranteed to get their money's worth here for around 6 K through the beautiful Grunewald forest. So nothing stands in the way of the upcoming New Year's Eve party.

10 km run

A wonderful view of Berlin before it gets colorful and loud. Those who want to go all out before the New Year's Eve party can take in the views from the Drachenberg and Teufelsberg. The celebrations that follow are sure to be a success.

Year-End Celebration with Donuts and Panoramic Views

More than 3,200 registered runners wrapped up the year with a sporty finish at the Berlin New Year's Eve Run. The final running kilometers of 2024 were rewarded not only with pancakes and a medal, but also with a fantastic view from Drachenberg in Grunewald.
