Your athletic end-of-the-year festivities in the capital city
2023 has been a busy year. That makes it all the more important to give the past 12 months a fitting sporting finale. At the Berlin New Years Eve Run 2023, you can go wild on the trails through the Grunewald Forest. Grab your trail shoes for a "splash tour" away from the asphalt — depending on the weather, it can get pretty muddy. And then you can celebrate a little harder in the evening after you have made an athletic start toward your 2024 resolutions.
You will have even more fun on the run if you come in costume
The hilly trails up Drachenfliegerberg and Teufelsberg will make you sweat but also reward you with an amazing view over all of Berlin. As you head back down, the paths require surefootedness and skill. However, the course is not designed to be too demanding, as the colourfully costumed participants come to have fun as we close out the end of the year together athletically. Self-made costumes are especially welcome—for the sake of fun and for the environment. Prizes will be awarded for the best costumes.
- Lots of fun and dazzling costumes
- Choice of 4 different distances (also for Kids & Youth)
- Wonderful views of Berlin (for the 6.3K and 10.3K events)
- Jelly-filled donuts and drinks at the finish
- Exuberant atmosphere
We are looking forward to a vibrant, yummy-donuty, wild and above all awesome final event of 2023.
